Morane Saulnier MS-406C.1 was the widespread French fighter from the Battle of France. It was designed in 1936 but due to the delays the first machines were delivered to Arm?e de l' Air not before 1938. The biggest combat deployment came with the Battle of France, but even after the Armistice was signed Ms 406s flew and fought on. Defeated France with its capital, Vichy city, held unoccupied area in continental France and colonies. Except of its national insignias, Vichy Air Force used distinctive red and yellow stripes on its aircraft. While the training took place in France, colonies experienced heavy fighting. The weakened French Indo-China had to bow to the Imperial Japanese forces even though Siam was repulsed. Madagascar was occupied by British forces and after short but heavy fights French Algeria defected. The kit contains two sprues with plastic parts, injected clear parts and resin parts including new wheels that were designed in 3D. Decals included offer marking for 4 Vichy machines. Three of them sported red and yellow stripes. Ms 406 with SR- 41 marking flew in French Navy training centre in France. Other two machines served in French Indo-China; one with stripes the other one without the latter. The last machine fought against the British landing forces at Madagascar.
